ASSURD BATUKADA is a street band of percussionists, active since 2011 in Apulia and composed of 15 elements.

Our energetic and colourful band is able to animate your events performing a show full of African rhythms mixed with the powerful Brazilian samba. The atmosphere we are able to create and our sound are comparable to those of the famous “samba blocos” playing during the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Surdo bass drums, snare drums, repinique, tamborim, timbao, jam block, shaker and agogo bells are the percussions we play without amplification. This is the reason why ASSURD BATUKADA is very versatile and can perform during weddings, private parties, live shows, incentive meetings and all types of events.

Assurd Batukada in 2016, presents to the public the AcouStick Performance a new rhythmic formula. Wooden bats and Bachette in Synchro give life to a unique performance of its kind AcouStick performance is a stage show that can be modulated according to the number of elements.
